A 40ft high cube container for sale is the same footprint as a standard 40ft, with roughly a foot of extra external height. That extra room matters for pallet racking, tall plant and almost every conversion that needs a comfortable ceiling. Typical dimensions
ISO 40ft high cube containers are typically about:
- External length 12.19 m
- External width 2.44 m
- External height ~2.89 m (vs ~2.59 m standard)
- Extra internal height of roughly 300 mm versus standard — confirm on the actual unit
Site tip: check eave heights, carport clearances and crane lift limits before you order a high cube onto a tight block.

We sell new and used containers. If you need a specific grade (cargo-worthy, wind-and-watertight or one-trip), tell us and we’ll match stock.
Why choose high cube

If you only need cheap static storage and height does not matter, a standard 40ft used GP may be enough. If a person will stand inside for work or living, high cube is usually the smarter buy.
Delivery
Delivery is not included in the table. Share access notes early — high cubes are the same length as standard 40fts but sit taller on the truck.
